Cloudflare launches AI-driven DNS privacy protection system PrivateDNS, achieving fully anonymous domain name resolution through multi-party computation and zero-knowledge proof technology, preventing ISPs from tracking browsing history.

On January 21, 2030, Cloudflare launched the AI-driven DNS privacy protection system PrivateDNS. Using multi-party computation and zero-knowledge proofs, the system achieves fully anonymous domain name resolution — users' ISPs can see they are online but cannot know which websites they visit.

PrivateDNS splits each DNS query across three independent resolution nodes, each receiving only part of the query. Only when all three results are combined is the complete resolution obtained. PrivateDNS is free for personal users, with enterprise pricing at $2 per user per month.
