AI Memory Extension MemoryVault Launches: AI Helps You Remember Everything You've Read and Retrieve It Anytime

Mem Labs launches AI memory extension MemoryVault, automatically recording all documents, web pages and conversations the user reads, with semantic retrieval to recall relevant information anytime.

On January 22, 2030, AI memory startup Mem Labs launched the memory extension product MemoryVault. The system runs in the background on users' phones and computers, automatically recording and indexing all documents read, web pages browsed, podcasts listened to and conversations participated in, building a completely personalized semantic memory library.

Unlike traditional search, MemoryVault uses semantic retrieval rather than keyword matching. Users can ask natural language questions like "What was the energy density mentioned in that solid-state battery article I read last month?" and the system finds relevant content from the memory library and provides precise answers.

Mem Labs CEO said the human brain encounters over 34GB of information daily but remembers less than 1%. MemoryVault's goal is to become an extension of human memory — not replacing memory but making forgotten information recallable at any time.

MemoryVault's privacy design uses a local-first architecture with all data stored on user devices and semantic indexing completed locally. Priced at $12/month subscription.
