PixelLink uses wireless power delivery technology, with computation and power provided by a companion neck-worn device. The prototype achieves a 40-degree field of view — three times that of the first-generation product. Mojo Vision CEO Drew Perkins said: "We're still two to three years away from a truly screenless AR experience, but PixelLink proves the viability of this technology path."
PixelLink is currently still in the pre-clinical testing stage and is not expected to receive medical device certification until 2032.
