Looking Glass Factory released HoloDesk on October 9, a glasses-free holographic desktop display for professional users. Unlike previous 3D display solutions requiring AR glasses or special screens, HoloDesk uses light field reconstruction to generate true 3D floating images up to 30cm above the desk surface, viewable by multiple people simultaneously without any assistive devices.

HoloDesk's core technology is a light field panel composed of 64 million micro-lenses paired with a real-time rendering engine that projects different viewpoint光线 of 3D models to correct positions in space.
