Construction Worker Exoskeleton SuitX Pro Launches: 3x Strength Enhancement With 60% Less Fatigue

American construction robotics company SuitX launches second-gen construction exoskeleton SuitX Pro, enhancing wearer strength and endurance through motor assist, tripling strength while reducing fatigue by 60%.

American construction robotics company SuitX today launched second-generation construction worker exoskeleton SuitX Pro. Construction is one of the world's highest injury-rate industries — repetitive lifting, prolonged bending, and elevated work cause numerous musculoskeletal injuries. SuitX Pro enhances human workers' physical capabilities through motor-assisted lumbar, knee, and shoulder joints without replacing human workers.

SuitX Pro weighs 8.5kg in carbon fiber and aerospace aluminum, donning in about 3 minutes. Built-in torque sensors and IMUs sense movement intent in real-time, with AI controllers providing precise assist torques. When lifting heavy objects, SuitX Pro reduces perceived load to one-third of actual weight.

SuitX Pro is priced at $8,000 per unit with 8-hour battery life. In contractor Skanska's pilot program, workers using SuitX Pro showed 72% reduction in musculoskeletal injury-related absenteeism.
