Standing 1.42 meters tall and weighing 48 kilograms, the robot carries 23 practical skills — folding laundry, helping elderly users stand, cooking assistance, emergency calls, and companionship chat, among others.
CubiqOne is fitted with two 7-DoF arms that can handle fine tasks such as unscrewing bottle caps and folding clothes. Each hand carries 12 tactile sensors capable of detecting force changes as small as 0.1 newtons. The robot uses an omnidirectional-wheel base, reaches a top speed of 1.2 meters per second, and can autonomously cross a 2-centimeter threshold.
Cubiq CEO Kim Min-soo said CubiqOne is not meant to replace domestic staff but to address the care needs of premium households whose adult children live apart from aging parents. Priced at 63 million Korean won (about $48,000), the robot has already received more than 1,800 orders in Korea alone.
The company plans to lift monthly output to 500 units in the second half of 2026 and gradually expand to Japan and Singapore.
