Digital physical therapy company Hinge Health announced on January 23 that its AI post-surgical rehabilitation platform RehabAI received CE certification. RehabAI uses smartphone cameras and computer vision to analyze patient movement quality in real-time, dynamically adjusting training plans based on movement completion, pain response and recovery progress.

In trials with 1,200 knee replacement patients, RehabAI users achieved 30% shorter recovery periods and 22% better joint range of motion at 6 months post-surgery.
