Gut Microbiome AI Diagnostic Platform MicrobiomeAI Launches

Digestive health company GutInsight launched its gut microbiome AI diagnostic platform MicrobiomeAI on September 1. Users collect stool samples using home collection kits and mail them to the lab, where the system completes metagenomic sequencing and metabolomics analysis within 72 hours, generating screening reports covering 15 digestive diseases including inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and early colorectal cancer indicators.

MicrobiomeAI's analysis model is trained on over 500,000 gut microbiome samples, capable of identifying abnormal patterns in microbiome diversity, key bacterial species ratios, and metabolite profiles. A single test costs approximately $299, and GutInsight has established retail partnerships with CVS and Walgreens.
