Gut Metabolome AI Analysis Platform GutMet Launches: Single Stool Sample Generates Comprehensive Digestive Health Report

Israeli biotech company DayTwo launches GutMet, an AI-powered gut metabolome analysis platform that mass-spectrometry analyzes approximately 4,000 metabolites from a single stool sample to generate personalized health assessments covering 50+ digestive diseases.

Israeli biotech company DayTwo launched its gut metabolome AI analysis platform GutMet on December 23. Users provide a single stool sample, and GutMet detects approximately 4,000 metabolite molecules via high-throughput mass spectrometry, then generates a personalized health report covering 50+ digestive disease risks.

GutMet's technical foundation combines metabolomics with AI. Metabolites produced by gut microbiota during digestion directly reflect gut flora composition and function. GutMet's AI model infers gut microbiome health, inflammation levels, and metabolic function by analyzing metabolite concentration profiles and ratios.

In a 3,000-person validation study, GutMet achieved 87.3% early warning accuracy for inflammatory bowel disease, 82.1% typing accuracy for irritable bowel syndrome, and 71.6% sensitivity for colorectal cancer precursor detection. Single-test pricing is $299, initially available in Israel and select US cities.
