AI Bacterial Biome Therapy Platform BacteriaMind Launches: Personalized Probiotic Formulations from Gut Microbiome Analysis in 48 Hours

Israeli AI medical company Biomica officially launched the BacteriaMind bacterial biome therapy platform on September 3. The platform analyzes gut microbiome imbalance patterns from patient metagenomic sequencing data and designs personalized probiotic treatment formulations within 48 hours.

BacteriaMind's workflow involves three steps. First, the platform performs deep analysis of patient gut microbiome sequencing data, identifying key species deficiencies or overgrowth patterns associated with disease. Then, AI models screen a database of over 5,000 known gut bacterial strains to find the optimal combination for correcting each patient's specific imbalance. Finally, the system outputs a personalized treatment plan with specific strains, dosages, administration methods, and expected outcomes.

In preliminary clinical validation for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the BacteriaMind personalized probiotic treatment group achieved a 47% clinical remission rate at 12 weeks, significantly higher than the 28% of the standard probiotic control group.
