AIGC Copyright Marketplace CopyrightX Launches: AI-Generated Content Gets Tradeable Digital Rights for First Time
Singapore fintech company TokenRights has launched CopyrightX, a blockchain-based marketplace supporting copyright registration and trading for AI-generated images, text, and music, with over $8 million in transactions in its first week.
Singapore fintech company TokenRights officially launched its AIGC copyright marketplace CopyrightX on June 1, 2028. The platform provides traceable copyright credentials and trading infrastructure for AI-generated content using blockchain technology.
CopyrightX's core innovation is the "Creation Chain Provenance" mechanism — each AI-generated work automatically records the complete creative process upon registration, including the AI model used, prompts, iteration count, and degree of human intervention.
TokenRights CEO Kevin Tan said: "The key issue in the AIGC copyright market is rights confirmation. CopyrightX provides a transparent trading framework for AI-generated content."
Over 12,000 AI-generated works were registered in the platform's first week, with the highest single transaction being $45,000 for a piece of AI-generated digital art. Singapore's Intellectual Property Office has incorporated CopyrightX into its digital copyright pilot program.
