Personalized AI Cognitive Companion CogniBuddy Launches: Customizing AI Collaboration Based on Your Thinking Habits

Anthropic officially launched CogniBuddy, a personalized AI cognitive companion, on July 9. Unlike universal AI assistants that serve all users with the same model, CogniBuddy continuously observes users' thinking processes, decision-making patterns, and expression habits to gradually build a "cognitive profile" and adjust its collaboration style accordingly.

For example, for users who tend toward visual thinking, CogniBuddy proactively uses charts and spatial metaphors to express abstract concepts; for users who prefer logical reasoning, the system provides more structured analytical frameworks. Among the first 100,000 test users, 87% reported that CogniBuddy's collaboration efficiency was noticeably higher than that of universal AI assistants.

CogniBuddy's basic subscription is $29 per month, including 50 hours of deep interaction. Anthropic emphasized that users' cognitive profile data is stored entirely on local devices and is not uploaded to the cloud.
