John Deere releases AI agricultural full-process robot AgriBot, covering planting, fertilizing, weeding, irrigation and harvesting with a single machine, making autonomous decisions through satellite remote sensing and soil sensor data.

On January 17, 2030, agricultural machinery giant John Deere released the AI agricultural full-process robot AgriBot. Unlike traditional farm machinery requiring different equipment for each operation, AgriBot is a multi-function autonomous platform covering the entire process from planting to harvesting by swapping work modules.

AgriBot is equipped with John Deere's proprietary "Field Brain" AI system integrating satellite remote sensing, drone inspection data, soil sensor data and weather forecasts to create personalized management plans per square meter.

In a year-long trial on a 2,000-acre Iowa corn farm, AgriBot-managed fields yielded 18% more, used 25% less water and 40% less pesticide. AgriBot is priced at approximately $350,000 with expected 3-year ROI, launching fall 2030.
